The butane tower for Fujian Zhongjing Petrochemical Group's 400,000-ton/year n-butane to maleic anhydride project, manufactured by Quanzhou Zhongtian, has successfully completed its aerial assembly and welding. The tower body has a diameter of 5.2 meters, a skirt diameter of 8.2 meters, a total equipment length of 93 meters, and is made of Q345R steel, with an overall weight of approximately 500 tons.

After the tower equipment arrived on site, the project team acted quickly, arranged for unloading immediately, completed the leveling of the tower equipment placement site in advance, and organized construction personnel to work overtime to carry out the "dressing" work of pipeline welding, anti-corrosion and heat insulation of the tower equipment.

Aerial assembly of butane towers is an extremely challenging task, akin to completing a precise "jigsaw puzzle" high in the air, requiring superb skills, rigorous procedures, and a high degree of teamwork. From the hoisting supervisor to the welders, from the quality inspectors to the safety supervisors, every position works closely together to ensure the safety and quality of the assembly work.
